Transformers:Age of ExtinctionPremiere
Hong Kong Cultural Centre - China
“Transformers: Age of Extinction” exploded onto the screen for the first time in Hong Kong. The fourth installment of the billion dollar franchise kicked off with a spectacular 20 foot Optimus Prime statue. The ceremony was closed with a special performance by the Imagine Dragons.

Concept
With the majority of the movie taking place in Asia, Hong Kong was the perfect picturesque location for the premiere.

Design
The 25ft Optimus Prime figure was produced and shipped to Hong Kong as a main focal point of the red carpet event. The choreographed fireworks on all surrounding skyscraper’s rooftops coincided with the Imagine Dragons globally broadcasted live performance.

Plan
With the client’s desired venue being fully booked two years in advance, our intimate relationships locally gave us the needed edge to negotiate the event into the calendar and successfully secure the client’s first choice venue.

Execute
The first temporary IMAX installation was executed in the Cultural Centre. While working internationally, local labor and currency exchange tracking was utilized to keep costs low and on budget, including the unique and globally broadcasted fireworks show.
